Privacy Policy

The Olde English Shaving Shop, trading as Mr Cobbs The Barber, is the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Our information officer can be reached at info@englishshavingshop.com or 021 418 2427.

When you book or buy we collect only what we need: your name, mobile number, email address and, for deliveries, your delivery address. We also keep your booking and order history so we can manage appointments and after-sales service.

We never see or store your card details. Online payments are processed on Yoco's secure pages.

• To confirm, remind you about, reschedule or cancel your bookings.
• To process and deliver your orders and handle returns.
• To keep proper accounting and tax records as the law requires.
• To respond when you contact us.

We do not send marketing emails without your separate consent, we do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Only the service providers needed to run the shop: our payment processor (Yoco), our email delivery service and our secure hosting provider. Each is bound to protect your information and may not use it for their own purposes.

Your information is stored on secure, access-controlled servers. Booking-management links are signed and private to you. Staff access is limited to what they need to run the shop.

Booking and order records are kept for as long as tax and consumer law requires (up to five years), after which they are deleted.

You may ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to its processing, by emailing info@englishshavingshop.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): complaints.IR@inforegulator.org.za · 010 023 5200.

If this policy changes we will post the new version here with an updated date.
