Returns & Refunds

Under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 you may cancel an online purchase of goods, without giving a reason and without penalty, within 7 (seven) days of receiving the goods.

To use this right, email info@englishshavingshop.com within the 7 days with your order reference. Goods must be returned unused and in their original packaging. You cover the direct cost of returning the goods; once we receive them we refund the full purchase price within 14 days. This right does not apply to services (such as haircuts and shaves) that have already been performed.

If a product is defective, unsafe or not as described, the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 gives you the right to return it within 6 (six) months for a repair, replacement or full refund — your choice. In this case we carry the cost of the return.

Beyond the cooling-off period we accept returns of unused, unopened grooming goods in saleable condition within 14 days of purchase, for an exchange or refund. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept opened or used cosmetics, oils, balms or brushes unless they are faulty.

Refunds are made to the same card or payment method you used, through our payment processor Yoco. Banks can take a few working days to reflect the refund.

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge using the secure link in your confirmation email, up to the time of your appointment.
